Custom coffee pouches for your roast and packing plan

Create distinct packaging for whole beans, ground coffee and tasting samples. Compare stand-up pouches for retail bags and multi-serving use, or flat pouches for compact portions.

Resolve the packing schedule before choosing the look

  • Whole bean or ground: trial-fill the actual roast and grind. Equal net weights can require different pouch volumes.
  • Freshly roasted coffee: CPP pouches do not include degassing valves. Your resting and packing process must work without one; a zipper is not a substitute.
  • Blends, origins and roast versions: select the number of designs in the configurator so the quote reflects the artwork versions you need.

Plan the pouch around the roast and packing schedule

Coffee form

Specify whole bean or ground coffee, roast profile and grind when applicable.

Packing timing

Decide how soon after roasting the coffee will be packed and sealed.

Freshness goals

Define oxygen, moisture, aroma and light concerns for the intended selling cycle.

Volume and opening

Trial-fill the actual coffee and account for headspace, reclosure and a clean seal area.

Choose materials around the roast and packing schedule

Compare films for the actual roast, packing schedule and customer use. CPP pouches do not include valves.

Bean density, grind and settling affect the space your coffee needs.

Compare metallic when oxygen and light lead the decision

Compare this opaque option for whole bean or ground coffee when lower oxygen transmission deserves more weight.

Why compare it
Metallic has the lower typical oxygen-transmission value in our material lineup and blocks the coffee from view.
Tradeoff
Its typical water-vapor transmission value is higher than white and clear, and no material choice solves fresh-roast gas release without a packing plan.
Test before production
Aroma, oxygen and moisture change, resting time, headspace, seals, repeated opening and target shelf life.

Compare white when moisture and clean color lead

Compare this opaque option when the lower typical water-vapor transmission value and a neutral print base are priorities.

Why compare it
White has the lower typical water-vapor transmission value in our material lineup.
Tradeoff
Its typical oxygen-transmission value is higher than metallic, so the roast and selling cycle should guide the comparison.
Test before production
Actual coffee, aroma, moisture, oxygen, packing schedule, seals, storage and customer use.

Consider clear when showing the roast earns its place

Compare this for short-run or visibility-led coffee presentations after light exposure is considered.

Why compare it
Clear shows bean color and grind while sharing the same typical transmission values as our white materials.
Tradeoff
Light exposure, surface oil and color change remain visible, and the pouch still has no valve.
Test before production
Light, aroma, oil appearance, scuffing, packing schedule, seals and shelf appearance.

Choose matte or gloss for the look and feel

Matte: a lower-shine 1.3 mil BOPP exterior; the complete film averages 4.9 mil.

Gloss: a more reflective 1.2 mil PET exterior; the complete film averages 4.8 mil.

Compare the complete films. Our specifications list lower oxygen-transmission limits for metallic and lower water-vapor transmission limits for white and clear. Confirm temperature, humidity and other test conditions before comparing barrier data. These film values do not establish product compatibility, measured light protection, odor containment or finished-package shelf life.

Compare all six materials and finishes, including the full film details and downloadable specifications.

Check the bag with your actual coffee

  • Trial-fill the intended net weight with the production roast and grind.
  • Leave room for settling, the zipper if selected and the top heat seal.
  • Check loading and seal cleanliness; grounds should not enter the sealing area.
  • Test the filled shape, aroma and product quality through the intended storage and customer-use period.

Use the pouch sizing guide to narrow the dimensions, then confirm the fit with physical samples.

Before production: prove the complete package

Before production, validate the roast-to-packing schedule, gas release, seals and storage performance without a valve. Compare oxygen, moisture and light priorities against the real coffee and selling period. Film transmission data cannot establish aroma retention or coffee shelf life by itself.

Coffee pouch FAQs

Do CPP coffee pouches include degassing valves?

No. CPP pouches do not include valves. If your packing process requires one, resolve that requirement before ordering this pouch.

Can I use one pouch size for beans and grounds?

Do a separate trial fill for each. Roast level, grind and settling change the occupied volume, so the same net weight does not establish the same fit.

Should a coffee pouch have a zipper?

A compatible zipper can make a multi-serving bag easier to reclose. Keep the initial heat seal above it and test repeated use with coffee particles.

Can clear film show the beans?

Clear film can show the roast, but product exposure and appearance need testing. Opacity and measured light-protection performance are different questions; compare the intended display and storage conditions.
